WASHINGTON COUNTY HEALTHY FAMILIES CHRISTMAS PARTY

Healthy Families is a remarkable program that positively impacts families with young children in Washington County. With an aim to provide support to parents and caregivers during the critical first three years of a child’s life, this program plays a pivotal role in ensuring that families are healthy and happy. This is a voluntary program wherein a dedicated team of trained professionals work arduously to assist families in need.

At the heart of Healthy Families is our annual Christmas party for the kids, which is a celebration of love, kindness, and joy. The party is an extremely popular event with dozens of activities for kids, including singing, crafting, and meeting Santa Claus. For many families who are part of this program, this party is the highlight of their holiday season. Last year, we felt honored to give over 140 children and 90 families presents, thanks to Antietam Exchange Club’s tireless fundraising efforts. However, we need even more help this year to keep this tradition alive and help more families. Every penny raised goes towards providing gifts, food, and more to ensure the best holiday experience for Healthy Families.
